Hello,

I would like to ask a question in relation to my GMM.
I have obtained a 3-class GMM of life satisfaction (continuous item assessed from 0-10) over 7 time points (W2-W9).

Is there a way to see if participants have transitioned over time from one of the three classes to another DUE TO THE EFFECT OF a specific variable?

In particular, I’d like to assess if traumatic events have made people transitioning over time from the high Stable life satisfaction class to the low life satisfaction one.

I’ve read about Markov Hidden Models and LTA, but I’m not sure if they apply to my case.

Thank you for your support.

If you want transitions over time, LTA is the most accessible approach.
