| Hello. I'm building a latent class model that has both categorical and continuous indicators, and the continuous indicators are themselves scale scores representing latent constructs so I will do CFA and weight using factor loadings before putting into the LCA. I'm looking for examples of papers/syntax that do one or both of these things (mixing indicator type and/or using latent variables as indicators). Can anyone recommend resources? Thank you! |

UG ex 7.11 is an example of how mixed indicator types can be used in LCA (starting values are not needed).
Using latent constructs without creating weighted scores but modeling the factor indicators at the same time is shown in UG ex 7.17. |
