I am trying to calculate z-scores for my transition probabilities. I used the Mplus LTA calculator to estimate the conditional probabilities when my covariate is at 1SD above the mean, at the mean, and 1SD below the mean. However, I am not sure how to get the number of people who made these transitions.

For example, if I have P(C2=3|C1=1)=0.588 for when the covariate is at 1SD above the mean, how do I calculate the number who made this transition?

Compute

P(C2=3 | C1=1)*P(C1=1)*N for when the covariate is 1 SD above the mean (and I assume you have all the other covariates at zero)
