Hi everyone, I am trying to do a Monte carlo study. I have generated 500 sets of data in R and use the command Data: file is mydatalist.txt; type = montecarlo; to read the data into mplus. I am wondering if i can save the result for each of the analysis (for example, the parameter estimates for each set of data, the BIC and AIC, average assignment probabilities, etc)? Thank you very much! |

See the RESULTS option of the MONTECARLO command. |

Dear Prof. Muthen, Thank you very much for your reply. I have tried using the results option in montecarlo command with the following syntax Montecarlo: Results = result.sav Data: File is mydatalist.txt; type = montecarlo; But I got the following errors *** ERROR in DATA command The DATA command is not available in conjuction with the MONTECARLO command. Can you please advise what I need to do to resolve the problem? Thank you! |

Please see the examples in Chapter 12 to see how a Monte Carlo analysis is set up. Step 2 of Example 12.6 shows how to use TYPE=IMPUTATION. See also Chapter 19 which describes the MONTECARLO command. |
