Dear Drs. Muthen,

I continue to receive the following error message:
*** ERROR in ANALYSIS command ALGORITHM=INTEGRATION is not available for multiple group analysis. Try using the KNOWNCLASS option for TYPE=MIXTURE.

The error occurs when I use the following syntax or any syntax that uses the "grouping is" subcommand:

...
Missing are all (-9999) ;
Usevariables are pds8a ds38a ds48a ds58a;
Count are pds8a ds38a ds48a ds58a;
Useobservations are (sample1 EQ 1);
Grouping is ecb (0 = adult 1 = teen);

MODEL: i s q | pds8a@0 ds38a@2 ds48a@3 ds58a@4;
[i] (1);
[s] (2);
[q] (3);
i (4);
s(5);
q (6);
i WITH s (7);
i WITH q (8);
s WITH q (9);

Do you have any suggestions on how to remedy this error?

The GROUPING option is not available for your analysis. To do multiple group analysis, you need to use TYPE=MIXTURE with the CLASSES and KNOWNCLASS options. When all classes are known, this is the same as multiple group analysis. See Example 7.21 for how to use these options.
