Dear Prof. Muthén,

I am running a cross-domain LGM.
When I use the syntax below the output does not show 3 covariances: iPos with idr; iPos with sPos; idr with sdr (I only get sPos with sdr).

MODEL:

idr sdr| cmwtdr@0 dmwtdr@3 emwtdr@6 fmwtdr@10 gmwtdr@13;
iPos sPos| CPos@0 DPos@3 EPos@6 FPos@10 GPos@13;
sPos on idr ;
sdr on iPos ;
iPos sPos on sex bage aedu;
idr sdr on sex bage aedu;

Q1: Why are these 3 covariances overwritten by the on statements?(These covariances are shown if i delete "sPos on idr ; sdr on iPos" from the model?

Q2: Is it correct to ask for the model to also estimate the 3 covariances (by adding to the model above: iPos with idr; iPos with sPos; idr with sdr)?

Q3: When I run the syntax above I do not get the mean and variance of the intercepts and slopes. How can I get those in my standardized model results?

Thanks very much.

Q1. Mplus correlates residuals for DVs only if the DVs are last in the causal chain, so only for spos and sdr.

Q2. Yes, just add the ones you want.

Q3. Look at TECH4.
