Hi,
I am attempting to estimate a cubic (single group) model for a set of longitudinal data before moving on to conduct an LCGA.

I am receiving a warning in the output file:
WARNING: THE LATENT VARIABLE COVARIANCE MATRIX (PSI) IS NOT POSITIVE
DEFINITE. THIS COULD INDICATE A NEGATIVE VARIANCE/RESIDUAL VARIANCE FOR A
LATENT VARIABLE, A CORRELATION GREATER OR EQUAL TO ONE BETWEEN TWO LATENT
VARIABLES, OR A LINEAR DEPENDENCY AMONG MORE THAN TWO LATENT VARIABLES.
CHECK THE TECH4 OUTPUT FOR MORE INFORMATION.
PROBLEM INVOLVING VARIABLE S.

I am relatively new to Mplus and latent variable mixture modeling and am wondering if anyone would be able to help me troubleshoot the issues and identify possible solutions/workarounds? TECH4 output has been generated and can be provided.
