Dear Dr. Muthen,

I am running joint analyses of longitudinal and survival data. To start with, I am running Xu-Zeger model using similar code posted the M-plus example website.

I was able to get some results three years ago with old version of M-plus. Now we have collected more data and I am trying to re-run it. I got the following message:

*** ERROR
There is at least one observation in the data set where a survival variable
has a negative value or 0. Please check your data and format statement.

I checked the survival data generated. None of observations are zero or negative value.

Even when I rerun the old mplus input file, I got the same error message. However this was run successfully three years ago.

Thanks,

Depeng Jiang
