Hi,

i'm trying to estimate a multi-level autoregressive (AR1) model using ESTIMATOR = BAYES; i'm trying to introduce a NEW parameter "icc" (in section MODEL CONSTRAINT) that is computed from two model parameters labeled "muvar" and "q" in the MODEL statement. On this new parameter "icc" i want to set a prior via MODEL PRIORS. Error message is:

*** ERROR in MODEL PRIORS command
Unknown variable or parameter label: ICC

Syntax is:
VARIABLE:
NAMES = pid p x;
MISSING = .;
CLUSTER = pid;
USEVAR = x;
LAGGED = x(1);

ANALYSIS: TYPE = TWOLEVEL;
ESTIMATOR = BAYES;
PROC = 1;
CHAINS = 1;
BITER = 500000 0;
THIN = 1;
BCONVERGENCE = 0.001;
POINT = MODE;
MODEL: %WITHIN%
x ON x&1 (a);
x (q);
%BETWEEN%
x (muvar);
[x] (mu);
MODEL CONSTRAINT:
NEW (icc);
icc = muvar / ( muvar + q/(1-a^2) );
MODEL PRIORS:
a ~ N(0.500,1000);
mu ~ N(500,1000);
icc ~ N(0.5,0);
OUTPUT: TECH1 TECH8 STDYX;

Mplus does not (yet) allow priors on NEW parameters.
