Dear Linda and Benght,
In my actual model, I estimated several coupling effects and now it seems like that this parameters first are positive, but then turning negative in a linear way. if i only estimate one parameter for all time points, i will lose this valuable information.

therefore, my idea is to gain more power with estimating only one coupling effect, but still having the linear change in this parameter. could mplus provide me an option to explain this single coupling-parameter as a "function of change"?

thank you for your support.

best regards,
walter

Please send your output and license number to support@statmodel.com. Point out what in the model command specifies the coupling effect.
