Hello, based on the user manual it looks as if it is possible to run a growth mixture model with multi-level data (e.g., level 3 -classroom, level 2 - person, level-1 time; I realize in Mplus this would really be a 2-level model). Is this correct? If so, can you point me in the direction of sample syntax for such a model?

Many thanks.

See Examples 10.9 and 10.10. These are three-level analyses in the conventional sense but two levels in Mplus.

In the example in the User guide for a two level LCGA model the outcomes are three-category. If I want to run a model similar to 10.11 but with a continuous outcome, what needs to change in the syntax?

Thank you,

Remove the CATEGORICAL option and refer to means instead of thresholds.
