Hi I am brand new to GMM and mplus and to make matters worse I am completely statistically challenged. I am getting some strange results and am wondering if I have made an error in my input commands (see below).

TITLE: GMM on das with covariates 2 classes
DATA: FILE IS 2011.dat.txt;
VARIABLE: NAMES ARE sub dc0 dc1 dc2 dc3 dc4 agg1cent selfrmct selfrfct stepstat;
USEVARIABLES ARE dc0 dc1 dc2 dc3 dc4 agg1cent selfrmct selfrfct stepstat;
MISSING ARE ALL (999);
CLASSES = c (2)
ANALYSIS: TYPE = MISSING MIXTURE;
STARTS = 100 10;
MODEL: %OVERALL%
i s | dc0@0 dc1@1 dc2@2 dc3@3 dc4@4;
i s ON agg1cent selfrmct selfrfct stepstat;
c#1 ON agg1cent selfrmct selfrfct stepstat;
OUTPUT: TECH1 TECH8 TECH11 TECH12;

I am doing (trying to do) a GMM with latent class trajectories for couple marital satisfaction over the first 4 years of marriage with aggression, self regulation male, self regulation female and stepfamily status (dichotomous) as the covariates. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Vanessa

If you plan to do this type of analysis, I suggest studying the topic first. We cover GMM in the Topic 6 course video and handout. Understanding growth modeling is necessary for understanding GMM. Topics 3 and 4 cover growth modeling.

I have already done this and many more, but thanks anyway. Obviously I am an idiot.
