Hello,

I am running a CFA on imputed data that includes both categorical and continuous variables. I have been asked by reviewers to report the chi-square statistic and the Standardised Root Mean Square Residual (SRMR). Is it possible to obtain these given the 1)imputed datasets and 2) mixture of categorical and continuous variables in the model?

Thank you in advance!

The SRMR is available in version 8.1. The chi-square value is also reported, which is the average of the chi-square values across the imputed data sets, but that average doesn't have a chi-square distribution so it is more of an approximation rather than an actual chi-square test. Fully developed chi-square test with imputation is currently only available for the ML estimator and all continuous variables.

Thank you. I'm having trouble obtaining the SRMR. I read that if it's available it will be reported automatically. I am using version 8.0.

You need version 8.1.
