I have data related to a 5-option 60-question multiple choice exam. The outcome is binary (1/0). I would like to conduct EFA, prior to CFA. I am sure Mplus can handle this as I already purchased the software after some research. My question is....how should the data be presented to Mplus....I have a data file as:

Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4 .......Q60
1 0 1 0 1
0 1 0 1 0
1 1 1 0 1
.......etc

Is this correct structure for the data file for Mplus?

The columns are indeed the items so you should have 60 of them.
