Is there a reference (or other resource) that I can use to help me determine how large a sample size I need for a study that will use latent class analysis?

I know how many separate items/variables I will have and I have a hypothesis about how many classes that I expect to find, but have no idea about how large a sample size I am going to need.

This is for a grant proposal I am writing with some math education colleagues. They have sets of items that they present to students, and certain patterns of right and wrong answers should identify specific types of misunderstandings students have about fractions.
