Hi,
I have 63 items that I have grouped into five factors with an EFA in MPlus to account for missing data. I would like to create a variable of each factor, so I can make a total score for those items. I know I can do this in SPSS; however, the EFA I get in SPSS is different from the EFA I get in MPlus because MPLUs is using full information maximum likelihood to account for my missing data. Can I transform the factors into variables in M+, or can I somehow copy the factors into SPSS to make the variables?

You can use the Define command to sum up items for each factor. Or, with a lot of missing data on the items, you can compute and save estimated factor scores for each factor.
