Dear Professors,

I am testing approximate measurement invariance of a scale across 22 countries by specifying a small prior variance for all the loadings and intercepts, and I am wondering:

1. How can I compare the group means and thus have country rankings?

2. Is there a way to ask for prior-posterior predictive p value (PPPP) in this case?

Many thanks.

Regards,
Qixiang

1. Take a look at user's guide example 5.33. Use the factor means for group comparison.

2. Currently the PPPP is implemented only with small priors for individual parameters but not for the DIFF priors. You can use PPP/DIC/BIC instead.
