Hi Have been trying to use the rawSAT2.mx script as posted on your website for calculation of saturated statistics and test assumptions with twins (sex limitation model). I have modified the script slightly in that I have reduced the number of zygosity groups from 6 to 5 but otherwise it is similar. Have run into a problem in that the script will not run. Error message tells me that the variance of some of the variables (sex variables for twin 1 and twin 2 within each zygosity group) are zero. This is what I would have expected as the groups represent zygosity/ sex groups and must therefore have been the same in the example shown on the website. I'm using version 5.0 and I think the website example is run on version 5.2 Any thoughts you have on what might be happening would be appreciated. Jtte |

In the example on the website, the groups do have some variability on gender which they probably should not. In your case, do not use gender as a covariate because it has no variability within groups. |
