| How do you set a residual variance to zero when the data is categorical and there is a non-significant negative residual variance. I need the code specifically. |

| In a single group analysis with the default parameterization, residual variances of categorical outcomes are not parameters in the model. You can fix the factor loading to a lower value than it is estimated at. |
