Hello-
I am running a 3 class LCGA with covariates. But I want to change the reference group. I know to change the reference group you assign start values and have the wanted reference group to be the last class. I did this, but when my analyses are done running, the class I wanted to be the last/reference class is not the last class and another class that I assigned to be the second class is the last class. Any suggestions on how to address this problem? |

| It's hard to say without seeing your output. It may be that the classes are not that distinct. Please send the output and your license number to support@statmodel.com. |

I'm learning to specifying a growth mixture model in Mplus. I'd like to change the reference class from the last class to the first, but I'm not sure how to do this. Suppose I have the following code:
