Hello, I am planning a study in which I want to compare two sets of latent classes. I have one set of 5 indicators for mathematics motivation and another 5 for science motivation. The idea is to identify the latent classes for each set of indicators and then compare membership in each set of classes. Is there a way to compare how cases classify between these two sets of classes? Thank you, Lori |

You can look at the relationship between the two sets of classes by asking for PARAMETERIZATION=LOGLINEAR in the ANALYSIS command and having c1 WITH c2 in the MODEL command. |

Hello, Do you have an example of code to find two sets of latent classes in the same data set. I want one latent class set to be based on four indicators and the other to be created based on five different indicators. How do I tell Mplus which indicators go with which set of latent classes? Thank you, Lori |
