Hello,
I'm running a twolevel LCA and using the SAVEDATA command along with save=cprob to obtain class membership etc.

The problem I have is that the saved data file only includes the cluster level identifier variable, and thus I'm unable to merge the class membership output with the original long-format data set, as doing so requires both the cluster id and the within cluster individual identifier.

Is there a way I can include both the cluster-level ID and within-cluster individual-level ID in the SAVEDATA file? Or otherwise link my SAVEDATA output back together with the original input file?

You can use the IDVARIABLE option to specify the individual-level ID variable and it will be saved with the cluster-level ID in the save file.
