Hi,

We get the following error message:

THE BEST LOGLIKELIHOOD VALUE WAS NOT REPLICATED. THE SOLUTION MAY NOT BE TRUSTWORTHY DUE TO LOCAL MAXIMA. INCREASE THE NUMBER OF RANDOM STARTS.

regardless of the number of random starts we specify. We are trying to estimate a fairly complex model with a large number of manifest variables and five latent classes (n= 732).

Do you have any advice on how we might trouble shoot this?

This would be impossible to say without more information. If you send your input, data, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com, I can take a look at it.
