Hi Linda and Bengt,

I was wondering if there is a way to restart an interrupted analysis? I have had a FMM running for a few weeks, and the power cord was accidentally knocked loose. I noticed there is an "MPlusThreadResult.out" file for each of the twelve processors - is it possible to use these files to pick up where the analysis was interrupted?

Alternatively, do you know of a way I could prevent this in future?

Thanks and all the best,

Miriam

The estimation can not be restarted.

I would suggest using the STSEED = command in the future. For example, if you have an analysis that lasts weeks because of starts=2000 200, you can break that analysis in 10 parts by using starts=200 20 with 10 different STSEED values.

Awesome, thanks Tihomir! I'll give that a go.

All the best,

Miriam
