Hi, I'm running a growth mixture model with four processors. One of my processors isn't running efficiently (poor start value?). I read through the user's guide and saw where we can shut down a bad set of start values by changing the interrupt option from 0 to 1. However, despite doing what I saw in the user's guide, I have no idea how to do this. I saved the file as control.dat, and went to the directory that includes the input file. I find the file but when I try to open it, I cannot except with excel. My question is how do I interrupt one of the processors. I guess I have no idea what I'm doing here. |

If you put INTERACTIVE = control.dat, you should get one file for each processor: control1.dat control2.dat control3.dat control4.dat |

Hi, I do get these. However, I'm not sure how to interact with them. I went to My computer, and then found the files. I double click them and it asks me what program to use to open them. I selected Mplus and a black screen comes up for a second and then it disappears. So, I'm just not sure how to interact with these files. |

Daniel, Try opening the files with Notepad. Sincerely, Amir |

I'll give it a shot! |

Hi, I don't know if this the right thread for my question, but I'll just post it here: Is it possible to assign the lrtstarts to multiple processors just like "normal" random starts? Thanks in advance! Martin |
