Linda/Bengt, I have a factor mixture model (FMM). And I'm trying to modify my FMM syntax so that I can change which class' factor means are zero. I'd like the most symptomatic class to have their means fixed to zero. But I can't seem to locate what syntax to use to change start values in factor mixture model. I'd appreciate your suggestions. MODEL: %overall% f1 by s1-s5; f2 by s6-s7; f3 by s8-s15; f4 by s16-s17 ; c#1 ON p1-p5 ; |

Factor means are zero in the last class as the default. You would need to free them in the last class by specifying: [f1-f4]; and fix them to zero in the class where you want them to be zero by specifying: [f1-f4@0]; |
