Dear Dr. Muthen,

Normally, we would use alpha=.05 as the cutoff p-value for Vuong-Lo-Mendell-Rubin likelihood ratio test (VLMR) and adjusted Vuong-Lo-Mendell-Rubin likelihood ratio test (ALMR. Because usually we would look at the VLMR or ALMR of several models, do we need to do any error rate correction such as dividing the alpha (.05) by the number of tests we did? Is there any literature to support always use alpha=.05?

Thanks!
Qi Chen

I am not sure about the answer to those questions.
