Hi there,

I am trying to run a LCA on a relatively large sample (N = 65 000). I convert my spss data file (.sav) to a .dat file. When checking the .dat file, everything looks perfect, i.e. columns don't have labels, no missing data points, everyting coed 0 and 1.

However, when I run the Mplus input file on the data, I receive an error message: "The number of observations is 0. Check your data and format statement." Indeed, when I check the .dat file again, it's now empty without any cases.

What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks,
Sophie

I am having the same problem as the one described here. The data seems to disappear after running my LCA. Was there an easy fix to this?
Thanks,
Leigh
