i want to build an HLM model with panel data,
say,
Yi,j=B0,j+B1,j(X1,j)+ e1,j
where i is individuals(or children) and j for groups(or classes)

Now this X in the independent variable which is linked to some other variables in a same Hierarchical way.
This is like a multi equation model with panel data ...

Is it possible to do the above in Mplus, if so how ?,
and is there any other way to build the above model given scenario is to build SEM with panel data.

With panel data you would also have variation over time, but I don't see an index for time.

Mplus can handle panel data (longitudinal data) with subjects within groups. There are examples in the User's Guide showing this. One question is if the groups should be considered fixed or random. In the random case you do multilevel modeling.
