I am conducting a parallel-process latent class growth analysis with six time points and have used Plot3 to create growth curve plots of the estimated means. For two of my time points in one of my classes, the estimated means are just over 9.0, but my scale only ranges from 1-7 (continuous measure). All the other estimated means are within the normal range. I have checked the data several times and everything else seems fine. I am not sure if this is normal, or what this could mean?

Thank you.

It could mean that the growth model doesn't have a great fit to the data and perhaps it needs to be different, at least for this class. E.g. a quadratic model may be needed instead of the overall linear. It can also be due to more missing data at those time points.

Thank you! I think it's likely due to missing data at those time points. I appreciate your quick response.
