I have currently specified a structurally equivalent 3 latent class model for 3 groups (using dummy variables for the groups) with the syntax:

Variable:
classes=class(3);

Analysis:
type= mixture;
starts=1000 100;

Model:
%overall%
class ON dummy2 dummy3;

Can anyone advise how can I specify exactly the same model using syntax for class specific statements e.g. some form of

class#1 on dummy2 dummy3
class#2 on dummy2 dummy3
class#3 on dummy2 dummy3

My motivation for doing so is that I wish to force class#3 to be a group-specific class with members from only one of the groups, and no members from the other two groups ie 2 groups have the same 2 classes, and the 3rd group has these two classes plus an additional one. Any help would be appreciated!

See the TRAINING option. I think you can accomplish what you want with this.
