I've succeeded in importing the posterior probabilities etc. from a growth mixture model into Stata, where I inspected the various items closely. I see the variables I, S, and S2 which I take to be individual-level estimates of the latent growth factors. But what is the interpretation of C_I, C_S, and C_S2? Though they have nearly identical means and variances to those of their C_-less counterparts, there is varying difference between them. I couldn't locate anything on this in the Version 6 user's guide. Thanks! |

I, S, and S2 are mixed factor scores. The underscore factor scores are based on most likely class membership. |
