Hi,

We conducted some analyses where a static IV predicts the initial status and change in a dynamic DV using LGM. The beta for the IV predicting the CH variable was significant and positive which initially led us to think as values on the IV goes up, the change becomes steeper; however, the mean of the ch variable is negative, so does this mean that as the IV gets higher, 1) the value of the change function also increases (i.e., becomes less negative/closer to zero/flatter/more stable) OR 2) the slope gets steeper (regardless of direction) and thus would drop more rapidly over time?

Thank you!
