Hi,

I'm running a Rasch model. How do I get the Theta score (person's ability)? And, how do I interpret the model fit for Rasch (fit index?)?

A person's ability is obtained by requesting factor score estimation - see the UG.

Mplus does not provide the usual Rasch model fit indices. But if you use WLSMV you get a factor analysis oriented test of model fit.

Thank you for your reply!
I did use WLSMV, so which fix index should I look at? The same as regular factor analysis?
Also, I know there is two parameterizations, Delta and Theta. What's the differences between these two?

WLSMV provides chi-square and related fit indices.

Regarding Delta and Theta, see page 535 of the user's guide.

Thank you!
My fit index doesn't look very good.
If i want to improve my model fit for Rasch, which part of the output should I look at?

Look at modification indices. See the MODINDICES option.
