I have 9 items want to do confirmatory LCA; however, I want to specify that some items should be related to one class but not another, based on theory. I have following syntax:
Variable:
Names are
id g1 g2 g3 g4 g5 g6 g7 g8 g9;
IDvariable = id;
Usevariables are g1 g2 g3 g4 g5 g6 g7
g8 g9;
Categorical are g1 g2 g3 g4 g5 g6 g7
g8 g9;
classes = c(2)
Analysis:
Type = mixture;
model:

%c#1%
[g1$1*1 g2$1*0 g3$1*1 g4$1*1 g5$1*0
g6$1*0 g7$1*1 g8$1*0 g9$1*0];
%c#2%
[g1$1*0 g2$1*1 g3$1*0 g4$1*0 g5$1*1
g6$1*1 g7$1*0 g8$1*1 g9$1*1];

Is the syntax correct?

I think you want @0 not *0 if you want to fix thresholds to zero.
