Hi, I am trying to establish configural invariance between two groups that are clustered (type= complex), the items are categorical variables (parametrization= theta); WLMSV estimator is being used. There are around 45 items in my model. When I try to establish configural invariance (so around 90 items in the total model), the model takes several hours to run. Is this normal? Thank you, Sun |

This is computationally demanding, more so if the items have more than two categories. How long it takes depends on the configuration of your computer. |

Dear Professor Muthen, Thank you so much for your reply. Do you know what configuration on my computer is best to make the process a little faster? Thank you, Sun |

You should have at least 4 processors. |
