| Maximum number of factors in EFA |

I am trying to compare a three-factor solution and a four-factor solution in EFA but when I was trying to fit a four-facor model I got a warning saying: "too many factors were requested for EFA. The maximum number of factors is set to 3". Is it possible to change the maximum number of factors?

| There is a limit to how many factors can be extracted from a set of observed factor indicators. See Slide 104 of the Topic 1 course handout for the relevant formulas. |
