Hello Professors Muthén,

I have a model with two latent variables each measured BY several categorical indicator variables. (From a survey with Likert scales)
A dichotomous outcome variable is regressed on the two latent variables.

Should I declare the indicator variables as CATEGORICAL or not?

I use the WLSMV estimator.

Yes, they are DVs as well (influenced by the factor).
