I have seen that some authors specify in the method section if they used correlation or covariance matrix as input for their analyses. When using Mplus I used the raw dataset: DATA: FILE=C:\rawdataset.dat What does Mplus used by default? Correlation or covariance matrix? |

| It depends on the analysis. What type of model are you estimating. |

| It is a mediation model with continuous variables |

| The statistics for model estimation for this model would be a covariance matrix. |
