| If I want to test the independent effect of one mediator versus the effect of this mediator within a full model (with 6 additional mediators), would I nest the independent mediator model within the multiple mediator model? Would I get useful model fit information only when I nest the independent mediator model inside the full model? (In other words, I would not get useful model fit information if I just ran the full model alone and covaried the mediator variables with one another using the WITH command). Would I have to use the DIFFTEST command in order to run nested models? |
