Hello,

I am working with the NHIS (National Health Interview Survey) dataset. I converted and imported my data from STATA into Mplus.

I run the input file, and got this error:

*** ERROR: One or more variables have a variance greater than the maximum allowed of 1000000. Check your data and format statement or rescale the variable(s) using the DEFINE command.

The affected variables are all IDs, weights, and variables tat uniquely identify individual records.

Any ideas as to how to handle this error? In what ways would this affect my subsequent analysis?

Thanks - Yy
