I've been trying to run a hierarchical ESEM using MPlus 6. Running the first-order ESEM works fine (see below for that example). But when ever I try a different method to add a general factor in to the model there are some issues with identification or some other error. Does anyone know of a way around this? Is there a straight forward way to add a general factor that I'm not aware of? (as I'm pretty new to MPlus) TITLE: ESEM MHS DATA: FILE is MHS.csv; VARIABLE: NAMES ARE Q1-Q13; ANALYSIS: Estimator=MLR; ROTATION=TARGET; MODEL: F1 BY Q1, Q3, Q4, Q7, Q13, Q6~0, Q8~0, Q10~0, Q5~0, Q12, Q2~0, Q9~0, Q11~0 (*1); F2 BY Q6, Q8, Q10, Q5, Q12, Q1~0, Q3~0, Q4~0, Q7~0, Q13~0, Q2~0, Q9~0, Q11~0 (*1); F3 BY Q2, Q9, Q11, Q1~0, Q3~0, Q4~0, Q7~0, Q13~0, Q6~0, Q8~0, Q10~0, Q5~0, Q12~0 (*1); |
