I have a simple model where I test stability only for a variable measured at two time points.
I have 268 cases at Time 1 and 242 cases at Time 2. If I use listwise deletion, I would have 227 cases in total.
When I estimate the model (Time2 ON Time1), the model constantly give me the sample size of 227. Shouldn't I have 268 cases because of the default missing data estimation in MPlus?
I tested the same model with different variables, and I have no such problem.
Do you have any idea about how to solve this issue?

| Your printout should say at least 268 cases with the default missing data handling in Mplus (unless you are using a very old version). Why don't you request PATTERNS in the OUTPUT command to see your missing situation. |
