Dr. Muthén, I am running into some problems justifying my output. Below is my output: Number of Free Parameters 233 Information Criteria Akaike (AIC) 90022.411 Bayesian (BIC) 91011.302 Chi-Square Test of Model Fit Value 3818.523 Degrees of Freedom 1846 P-Value 0.0000 RMSEA Estimate 0.046 90 Percent C.I. 0.044 0.048 Probability RMSEA <= .05 1.000 CFI/TLI CFI 0.860 TLI 0.851 Chi-Square Test of Model Fit for the Baseline Model Value 16001.726 Degrees of Freedom 1953 P-Value 0.0000 SRMR Value 0.060 This is a very complex model and the N=515. I saw that there are some published articles reported TLI/CFI below 0.9 as decent model fits.I also tried MODINDICES(3.84) but I don't think the suggestions make theoretical sense. Is it a stretch for me to see the model fit was decent? are there good articles that can backup my story? Thank you very much! |

This is a good question for SEMNET. |
