Hello all,

I would like to do some scale validation and would like to calculate the Contruct reliability (CR), Average Variance Extracted (AVE) and Fonell-Larcker-Criterion (FLC).
Can I do that in Mplus? If yes, is there a command to get it or a how-to description somewhere?

Thanks
Richard

There are not options for these statistics. You can most likely use MODEL CONSTRAINT to compute them.

Check with SEMNET to get the setup.

Hi I am new Mplus user.

I test my model and it fits the data then I tried to calculate composite reliability and average variance extracted.I use STDYX Standardization to compute the AVE and CR. Most of the AVE is above 0.5 (except one has a problem of heywood cases), but AVE for each construct is less than its shared variance with any other construct,
what does it mean? and how can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance.

I suggest posting this question on a general discussion forum like SEMNET.
