WLSM scaling factors in baseline model PreviousNext

Hello,

I am wondering whether the chi-square test of model fit compared to the baseline model uses a scaling correction factor (when using the WLSM estimation). The output includes a scaling correction factor for the tested model, but not for the baseline model. So if the test of model fit to baseline DOES use a scaling factor, what is it?

Thanks very much,

Harriet

The scaling factor is needed only if you do a chi-square difference test of two nested models. The chi-square value reported for the H0 model needs no adjustment.
