Hi - I have run a simple structural model with 1 IV, 1 DV and 1 mediating variable using the VIA command. The results indicate a non-significant effect of the mediating variable, Est 0.001, S.E. 0.003 Est/S.E. 0.5

Could you tell me what the convention is in reporting the results of this type of analysis?
Many thanks

The conventions would be the same as for reporting any regression coefficient.

Thanks for this - but the above estimation and standard error values are all I get from the sampstat output, could you tell me what output to ask for - by the way, in case its relevant to my question, the DV is categorical. thanks for your time.

You have used the VIA command which is part of MODEL INDIRECT. I'm not sure why you are mentioning the SAMPSTAT output. Please send your input, data, output, and license number to support@statmodel.com and say what on the output you are trying to understand.
