Dear Dr. Muthen,

I am using Mplus to do a simulation study of multilevel-multidimensional item response models. I know there is an option to change the default number of quadrature points (15) used in the numerical integration, but I am wondering what's the default range of the continuous latent variables in this integration? Can we change that as well?

Thanks a lot!!
Dandan

The range on the standardized metric is from -5 to 5. You can change it using the SCALE= option of the ANALYSIS command. For example if you set SCALE=2; then the range becomes from -10 to 10.
