Sorry the previous post was incomplete, so again: I have made a path model, in which all the (standardized) coefficients are significant, p < .05. The coefficients range from .13 to .47. How do I judge the practical significance of these sizes? I've seen a study in which they put it at > .15 but also a book on mra which puts it at >.30 to speak of practical significance. I can't find any good documentation on the theory behind this |

In my opinion, practical significance depends on what is being measured and what the researcher believes is an important change not an absolute value. |
