I am fitting a complex model for joint modeling of continuous and categorical outcome variables. Based on the Mplus user's guide, I am supposed to be able to use ML, MLR, or MLF to do the estimation. However, when I selected MONTECARLO integration, my specification of MLR is automatically overwritten. It seems only MLF is allowed. My questions are: 1. How can I still use MLR along with Montecarlo integration for my model? 2. Under what circumstance, MLF has to be specified? Thank you very much. |

It sounds like your model had estimation problems with MLR and MLF was used instead. MLR is allowed with Monte Carlo integration. If you want us to look at this, please send the full output and your license number to support@statmodel.com. |
